Squirrel​ has been coding for forty years and has led software teams for twenty. He uses the power of conversations to create dramatic productivity gains in technology organizations of all sizes. Squirrel’s experience includes growing software teams as a CTO in startups from fintech to biotech to music, and everything in between; consulting on product improvement at over 100 organizations in the UK, US, Australia, and Europe; and coaching a wide variety of leaders in improving their conversations, aligning to business goals, and creating productive conflict. He lives in Frogholt, England, in a timber-framed cottage built in the year 1450.

Jeffrey Fredrick is an internationally recognized expert in software development and has over twenty-five years’ experience covering both sides of the business/technology divide. An early adopter of XP and Agile practices, Jeffrey has been a conference speaker in the US, Europe, India and Japan. Through his work on the pioneering open-source project CruiseControl, and through his role as co-organiser of the Continuous Integration and Testing Conference (CITCON), he has had a global impact on software development. Jeffrey’s Silicon Valley experience includes roles as Vice President of Product Management, Vice President of Engineering, and Chief Evangelist. He has also worked as an independent consultant on topics including corporate strategy, product management, marketing, and interaction design. Jeffrey is currently Managing Director in London at TIM, an Acuris Company. He also runs the London Organisational Learning Meetup and is a CTO mentor through CTO Craft.

Josefine is taking lead in building Trygs DevSecOps transformation. She is one of the main drivers of creating the vision and changing the understanding and culture of the organization. She is passionate in creating a better understanding of the value a real and successful DevSecOps transformation gives to an organization. Her role has been focusing on getting the technical practices “translated”, so that the end-users realize, what benefit this gives to the organization as a whole. All this in a classic organization, where outsourcing is a huge part of the daily deliveries to Trygs customer.

Michael is driving the agile transformation in Tryg in his capacity as Head of IT Development. He has experience from a range of organizations, where he has acted as driver of other transformations, changes, mainly in the form of Solution and release trains, Programmes and projects. He has done agile transformations since 2006. The transformation in Tryg is a classical transformation in an organization that has been used to waterfall projects, and has been, and still is using a lot of outsourcing in the IT areas, with all the complexity this is giving.

Specialisterne is a global company with offices in 12 countries with the goal to generate meaningful employment for one million autistic/neurodivergent persons through social entrepreneurship, corporate sector engagement, and a global change in mindset. Carsten is CEO of Specialisterne in Denmark, from where the company originates and where a lot of research and prototyping is still carried out. Specialisterne does training, assessment, and onboarding of neurodivergent talent for companies around the world and run their own consultancies with mainly neurodivergent employees.

Risto has worked in both public and private sectors leading major transformation programs and large line organizations with more than 700 persons. He was a head of software development unit of 200 persons and a CEO of a medium-size software company. He now utilizes his vast practical knowledge and hands-on experience to implement Lean/Agile transformations for fast value creation and the improved customer experience in Telia. His holistic approach helps companies take full advantage of lean and agile practices. Risto has a Master’s degree from both Helsinki University of Technology and Cranfield University (UK) and is an SPCT Candidate.

Kat Cosgrove is a Developer Advocate at JFrog, and an actual cyborg. Her professional background has run the gamut from bartender to video store clerk, to teacher, to software developer. She credits this wide-ranging experience for her success as a speaker, developer, and advocate. Her specialty is approachable 101-level content for junior developers or anyone else who considers themselves a newbie, with a particular focus on DevOps.

When she's not building demos or at a conference, she spends her time playing video games, watching horror movies, and reading science fiction. She lives in Seattle with her cat, Espresso, who is the real brains behind the operation and actually ghostwriting all of her tweets.

With a strong track record in IT and DevOps, Kalle has helped many small and large companies to build, automate, and scale their DevOps environments. Kalle describes himself as a fast learner workaholic driven by self-improvement.

Marc helps large enterprises leverage the game-changing power of Lean, Agile, and DevOps at scale. He has been practicing Agile for over 20 years and is an internationally recognized thought leader, consultant, trainer, adviser, and speaker. Marc lives in Hawaii and is a member of the Framework team at Scaled Agile.

Mark Shead is the president of Xeric Corporation where he helps organizations increase their return on investment in software development. He has worked extensively as a coach with the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve Banks implementing Agile development and deployment practices. He specializes in helping teams use DevOps to build development/deployment pipelines in organizations with legacy change management policies and turning six-month deployments cycles into something measured in hours.

JJ works as a Developer Advocate representing the IBM Cloud all over the world. He mainly focuses on the IBM Kubernetes Service and OpenShift trying to make companies and users have a successful onboarding to the Cloud Native ecosystem. He’s also been known in the DevOps tooling ecosystem and generalized Linux communities. If he isn’t building automation to make his work streamlined he’s building the groundwork to do just that.

He lives and grew up in Austin, Texas. A father and husband, trying to learn to balance his natural nerdiness with family life. He enjoys a good strong dark ale, hoppy IPA, some team building Artemis, and epic Gloomhaven campaigning.

He has recently dove headfirst into Fedora since IBM buying Redhat, but still secretly wants FreeBSD everywhere. He’s always trying to become a better web technology developer, though normally just uses bash to get the job done.

Andrew heads up developer relations for Fastly, working with developers across the world to help make the web faster, more secure, more reliable and easier to work with. He founded a web consultancy which was ultimately acquired by the Financial Times, led the team that created their pioneering HTML5 web app, and founded the FT’s Labs division. He has also been an elected member of the W3C Technical Architecture Group, a committee of nine people who guide the development of the World Wide Web.

Juho’s calling as a designer is the facilitation of the big picture and the utilization of the key stakeholders for reaching better design decisions. After numerous branding and commercialization projects, he got hooked on interaction design which worked as a gateway to service design and business design. He is passionate about continuous improvement, better ways of working, and connecting business, technology & design viewpoints.

Founder and partner of truematter, a user experience strategy firm based in South Carolina, Dean has been creating user-centered digital products for 25 years. He oversees truematter’s UX practice, which specializes in defining, designing, and building complex, data-intensive, digital products.

Dean has led strategic engagements for regional organizations as well as the Fortune 100. His expertise includes digital strategy, research, prototyping, and user testing. He regularly speaks, writes, and teaches on UX strategy and design, usability, user research, content strategy, and building UX-focused teams. Dean is also an avid outdoorsman, ultra marathoner, reader, and traveler.

Kasper is a Cloud Native Computing Foundation Ambassador and organizes meetups in Denmark. He works as a Site Reliability Engineer at Lunar, previously worked as a DevOps & Infrastructure Consultant at LEGO. 

Jeff brings more than 20 years of security leadership experience as co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Contrast Security. He recently authored the DZone DevSecOps, IAST, and RASP refcards and speaks frequently at conferences including JavaOne (Java Rockstar), BlackHat, QCon, RSA, OWASP, Velocity, and PivotalOne. Jeff is also a founder and major contributor to OWASP, where he served as Global Chairman for 9 years, and created the OWASP Top 10, OWASP Enterprise Security API, OWASP Application Security Verification Standard, XSS Prevention Cheat Sheet, and many more popular open source projects. Jeff has a BA from Virginia, an MA from George Mason, and a JD from Georgetown. 

Brono Korenko is a Test Automation Expert at BMW. He has years of experience with the automation of functional and non-functional tests and has recently shifted his focus to application security testing. He serves as part of a team at BMW charged with building a DevSecOps program.

Jérémie has been working in Cisco’s Innovation Department for over ten years, focusing on Cloud software solutions including Solr/Lucene, Kafka, Zookeeper, Hadoop, as well as Android and HTML5. While this role has afforded the opportunity to learn and stay on the cutting-edge of Innovation Technologies, Jérémie has also spent much of the last five years bringing people in the development community together by co-leading DevOps transformation within Cisco, organizing Unconferences and managing developer communities. As part of his ongoing innovation work, Jérémie is involved in the Paris Innovation & Research Lab http://pirl.tech/ and the DevNet Hackathons in Europe http://hackathon.cisco.com/ 

Brian is a co-founder and CTO of Sonatype. He is the former Chair of the Apache Maven project and a member of the Apache Software Foundation. Before becoming CTO in October 2016, Brian also held other leadership roles at Sonatype (VP Product Management & VP Engineering). Brian is focused on building a platform for developers and DevOps professionals to build high-quality, secure applications with open source components. 

Sami is a strategic designer working at the intersection of systems, foresight and design. In his daily work he helps teams, products and companies to become more resilient by making the best strategic choices about their futures and business and build teams, capabilities and organizations to support this quest in the long term.

During over 20 years in the industry, he has worked on several continents, earning himself international patents, numerous awards and has built into exits to the largest companies in the world. He has organized and spoken in at over a hundred industry events ranging from Google to sold-out major conferences to local meet-ups both in person and virtually.

Currently, he is one of the founders and the creative director at Nordkapp, a strategy and design consultancy for the post-normal era. He is also an exhibited artist exploring the combination of humans, rapid manufacturing and generative networks and machine learning, and a member of the board at IxDA — Interaction Design Association, a worldwide professional organisation consisting of nearly 250 local groups and more than 120,000 individuals globally. 

Amber Vanderburg is a multi-award-winning international businessperson, keynote speaker, and founder of The Pathwayz Group. In 2016, she left her job in corporate HR to become the only female, only American, and only blonde Academy elite football coach for the Adidas Gameday Academy/Paris Saint Germain Academy in Bangalore, India. She worked with an international team of coaches to transform the organizational design, training development, and corporate culture to cultivate a higher-performing team. Today, Amber and The Pathwayz Group work with international teams that struggle with co-worker tension, inefficient processes, and unmet performance expectations in an action-focused approach to guide teams in the path to becoming more effective, more efficient, and more enjoyable.

After starting his career as an Embedded Software Engineer, Sheldon quickly enrolled into the world of Cloud Computing. During his first years as Software Development Tool Specialist, he was responsible for everything from the infrastructure, to optimizing CI/CD pipelines and the software releases, after which he took on the role of Cloud Native Consultant. This is where he got to continue helping clients with migrating their legacy applications to containers and soon after also to Kubernetes as the container orchestration platform. After which joining Rancher Labs, now SUSE, to help Enterprises see the value of Rancher and other SUSE products in the Cloud Native ecosystem.  

Ron has a background in space physics, having worked as a Cassini team member analyzing plasmas trapped in Saturn’s magnetosphere. He now works for CircleCI in San Francisco, Calif. as a Technical Content Marketing Manager producing content that enables developers to build, test, and deploy their projects faster. Previously, he was a developer evangelist at Samsung Electronics, America where he specialized in 360-degree video production and developing applications for virtual reality hardware, wearables, and IoT.

Ashley Ward is part of the Office of the CTO within the Cloud security area of Palo Alto Networks.  He pulls from 18+ years of delivering IT solutions to aid customers in their secure deployment and scaling of cloud native environments.  As a recovering operations chap Ashley knows through real world experience how to make cloud native solutions work in the enterprise.

Ashley has a boat he never seems to sail, beer-brewing equipment he never seems to use, and a family he loves spending time with. He spends his spare time volunteering as a Justice of the Peace.

Michael is a Security Engineer at Personio, Europe's leading HR Software for small and medium enterprises. Being part of the software industry for 30+ years, he has gone through his own journey into cloud native computing in research, development, and consultancy, supporting small and enterprise companies.

Fostering security and privacy by design are his main duties in the last decade to ensure, that products and services fulfill required agreements and constantly improve on their compliance level defined in national and international security and privacy standards.
Michael is a systemic coach as well, has been a change manager, and is a certified Scrum master.
